Special types of flex like insulated and acoustically lined can be used wherever the loss of heat needs to be minimised, or where noise transfer must be cut.
Description
Flexible ducting is a mainstay product in the HEVAC industry. Much less bulky than regular spiral ducting means carriage and fitting both become much easier. The reduction in supported mass is another great advantage, as is the ability to create curves and bends, without needing special parts.
We sell five types of flexible ducting, which are explained in the application section above. Aluminium acoustic flex is available in diameters from 100mm to 500mm, and all others in diameters from 80mm to 610mm. All flex with PVC as part/all of it's construction comes in 6m lengths, all aluminium flex in 10m lengths.
