Fire rated extract air valve suitable for use in low velocity systems.
Designed for use in low velocity systems like those found in domestic and commercial properties, Series GEVF fire rated extract Air Valves are rated for two hours.
Extract air valves are normally used in areas of high humidity like kitchens and washrooms. However the fire rated design of Series GEVF Air Valves makes them suitable for anywhere a fire rated air terminal is needed.
Series GEVF fire rated extract air valves have all steel major components, finished in stove enamel white for unmatched durability and depth of finish.
Rated for two hours when tested in accordance with BS476-20, fire rated air valves have a spring loaded fusible link designed to pull the core back into the frame upon firing. Fusible links can be set to either 50 or 70 degrees Celsius as standard.
Like all HVC air valves, Series GEVF fire rated units come with a mounting ring and rubberised gasket seal.
