Type LSD Linear Slot Diffusers can be used in any indoors application requiring long continuous lengths of air terminal. Normally installed in walls and ceilings, they are suitable for use as both extract and supply units.
The ability to handle large air volumes makes Linear Slot Diffusers also suitable for any building requiring large air change rates. In both supply and extract functions, the large 20mm wide vents allow for exceptional air handling.
Description
With most major components made from aluminium extrusion, HVC Linear Slot Diffusers are both lightweight and strong, and as we only use top quality extrusion, bobbles and blade twisting are extremely rare occurrences.
For extract applications, a standard Linear Slot Diffuser will easily fulfil your requirements. However, if supply is the intended function of your diffuser, we strongly recommend specifying internal deflectors are fitted. The addition of these enables throw adjustment in a full 180 degree pattern, letting you take advantage of the Coanda effect when using sideways throws, and enabling the creation of an effective air curtain in downwards throws.
A range of options are available with your Linear Slot Diffuser to enhance functionality. The aforementioned deflectors make a far more effective supply unit, rear mounted opposed blade dampers are an easy volume control method, and optional goalpost brackets combined with a HVC slot box make fitting and connection to ductwork simple.
