Series OBD Opposed Blade Dampers are lightweight volume control dampers, designed to be used with HVC grilles and diffusers, not as a standalone volume control damper.
Opposed Blade Dampers contain steel parts, and are therefore not recommended for use in corrosive environments. Description
Incorporating extruded aluminium frames and blades, and precision moulded plastic gear systems, Series OBD Opposed Blade Dampers are purpose designed to be easy to operate and reliable.
Opposed Blade Damper frames have also been specifically designed to seat perfectly to all HVC grilles and diffusers. With a special outturn, the dampers fit securely and snugly to most HVC air terminals, and are then usually fitted by way of riveting.
These dampers can be called upon to perform volume control in both extract and supply situations.
