Plenum boxes provide the connection between grilles and diffusers, and the appropriate ductwork either extracting or supplying air. Essentially plenum boxes are just as important as both the grille and ducting.
Fixing lugs for fitting into a drop rod ceiling can be factory fitted, and normally the plenum will be fixed by an appropriate method to the grille or diffuser neck.
Description
HVC Series PB Plenum Boxes are made from galvanised steel throughout, and all joints are fully welded and then sealed to prevent leakages, keeping ventilation systems running at full performance.
Fire rated plenums are made from a 18 swg galvanised steel, thicker than normal, within the box a S200 Fire Damper is the fitted just inside the spigot. S200 Fire Dampers are spring operated, enabling use in both top and side entry plenum styles.
With side or top entry plenums, multiple or single spigots, and fire rating or acoustic lining all available, we can supply any plenum box you may need.
