Using a perforated steel face, Perforated Plate Grilles are perfect for areas like primary school classrooms, where resistance to tampering is desirable. The 3mm diameter holes are too small to push fingers through, guarding against injury and damage.
Perforated grilles are not just tamper resistant though. Able to be used for both supply and extract, Series PPG Grilles have a free area of around 50% for good air handling characteristics.
Description
Series PPG Perforated Plate Grilles use the same frame types as the whole range of HVC grilles, meaning whatever HVC grilles you have, your perforated plate grille will always match and not look out of place.
When used for supply, Perforated plate grilles create a stable throw, the complete opposite to something like a swirl diffuser. This can be used to make an area completely filled by the moving supply air, excluding resident air. For extract, the good free area makes a grille able to handle medium size air volumes without the creation of too much noise or pressure drop.
With a wide range of options available for you to choose from, you can truly customise your Perforated Plate Grille to your specification. Our own fully aluminium opposed blade dampers are available, and can be factory fitted to the rear of the grille to enable volume control, or perhaps internal deflector plates would be more useful. Whatever you need, we can almost certainly supply it.
