You may never need a 6 hour rated fire damper, but with the extreme danger to both lives and buildings posed by fires, it is comforting to know that you have equipment with such extraordinary capabilities.
All S100 Fire Dampers, including the S100AMH have been subjected to, and found to satisfy the most extreme British and International testing.

With the choice between a HEVAC or plasterboard fixing frame, S100AMH fire dampers are designed to aid the fire partition in resisting the extreme distortion that will occur in severe fires, and hence can help in maintaining the structural integrity of a building.
In addition to a HEVAC or plasterboard frame S100AMH Fire Dampers have a stainless steel blade pack to inhibit corrosion. This blade pack, which can be made from either 430, 316 or 304 grade stainless steel is housed partially within the airstream on S100A models, hence we only recommend these dampers are used in systems with a low air velocity.
The best assurance of the quality of a product is to have it tested by an impartial testing centre. So, that is what we've done: All HVC S100 Fire dampers are tested and certified to BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1), a test demanding the damper survives a severe fire lasting 4 hours, at a pressure of 300Pa. BS476-20, a 6 hour fire endurance test has also been satisfied, as have DW144 leakage tests.
Real world usage however is a world away from the controlled conditions of a test house. Ducting is often contaminated by dust and dirt, and over years this can build up on moving parts and adversely affect fire damper performance in the event of fire. This is why S100 Fire Dampers have undergone reliability tests comprising dust loading, damper cycling and spring cycling. Never was any damper failure observed after exposure to these conditions.
We offer a wide range of options to go with your S100AMH Fire Damper. From solenoids and electromagnets enabling remote operation, to blade position indicators which are available in both visual and high quality Honeywell remote units. All accessories will be fitted in-house, meaning less chance of damage during fitting on site.

Installation Frame Not Required?
Suppose you do not need a HEVAC or plasterboard fixing frame, S100AM Fire Dampers have all the advantages of S100AMH Fire Dampers without the builderswork frame |
|
Need a stainless frame as well?
Corrosive substances can wreak havoc with galvanised steel, S100ASH Fire Dampers have a fully stainless blade pack and internal frame, for maximum corrosion resistance |
|
Circular Spigot
S100AMH Fire Dampers are designed for square ducting systems. For circular systems S100CGH Fire Dampers are required |
|
Mid to High Velocity Airstream?
With a blade pack held outside the airstream, S100BMH Fire Dampers are essential in anything but low velocity systems |
