Regulations and the need to protect buildings from fire mean that high quality fire dampers like our S100AS all stainless steel fire damper are essential. The use of HVC's fully certified dampers brings peace of mind and the knowledge that your building is protected in a fire.
Tested and confirmed to satisfy British and International fire damper standards, HVC S100AS Fire Dampers are some of the very best dampers on the market.

S100AM fully stainless steel Fire Dampers are designed for use in corrosive environments, where substances present in the air like chlorine or salt can attack standard galvanised steel. This ability to resist corrosion has been confirmed by use of salt spray corrosion tests. S100 Fire Dampers were subjected to a 20% salt spray for 120 hours, after which dampers were observed to close successfully when exposed to fire.
Recommended for use in low velocity airstreams only, S100AS Fire Dampers have a blade pack which, when retracted in normal operation is partially protruding into the duct; thus eliminating the need for a separate blade containing area.
Like the whole range of S100 Fire Dampers, S100AS fully stainless units are confirmed to satisfy BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1). This tests the ability of a fire damper to maintain integrity when exposed to fire with 300Pa of pressure forcing against the damper. These dampers also conform to BS476-20, as tested by Warrington F.R.C, and DW144 leakage requirements.
The dampers sent for testing were though, completely clean and brand new. Real world conditions are not like this, dust build up over time can hinder fire dampers, preventing them from closing in a fire. So all HVC Fire Dampers have successfully undergone rigorous cycling, reliability and dust loading tests to ensure operation at all times.
We realise that sometimes a standard fusible link operated fire damper is not enough. That is why we offer a range of factory fitted accessories with every S100AS Fire Damper. With a range encompassing remote activation equipment, visual position indicators and resettable links to enable easy periodic testing, HVC can make a fire damper to suit your requirements.

Don't Need Fully Stainless?
Perhaps you don't need so much corrosion resistance, S100AM Fire Dampers use a galvanised not stainless frame |
|
HEVAC or Plasterboard Frame Needed?
With the choice of either, S100ASH Fire Dampers bring the additional benefits of a builderswork frame |
|
Circular Spigot
S100AS Fire Dampers are designed for square ducting systems. For circular systems S100CS Fire Dampers are required |
|
Mid to High Velocity Airstream?
With a blade pack held outside the airstream, S100BS Fire Dampers are essential in anything but low velocity systems |
