S100BG Fire Dampers exceed both international and British test requirements, and can prevent fire spreading through ductwork for up to six hours, keeping the fire localised and allowing fire fighters to do their job.

All Fire Dampers within the S100B series have a blade pack held entirely outside the airstream during normal operation, making S100BG dampers suitable for use in medium to high velocity airstreams.
The fully galvanised steel construction means that we only recommend these fire dampers are used in ventilation systems where exposure to corrosive substances (salt, chlorine etc) will not be experienced. If corrosion resistance is necessary then S100BM or S100BS models will be of more use.
Independently tested, and proven to satisfy BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1), a four hour fire test with 300Pa of pressure, and BS476-20, a six hour endurance test, you can be certain of truly staggering performance from your HVC Fire Dampers. DW144 leakage tests have also been conducted, and HVC S100 Fire Dampers have been found to satisfy those as well.
In addition to fire testing however, real world conditions need to be simulated. So, dust loading, cycling and corrosion tests have been performed on HVC S100 Fire Dampers to ensure operation even in adverse conditions. In all tests the dampers were observed to latch successfully when released.
