The need to protect people and buildings from the spread of fire is of paramount importance in any building, and one of the best ways for fire to spread quickly is through ductwork.
This is why high quality dependable fire dampers are needed. Having satisfied both four and six hour tests to BS and ISO standards, HVC S100BM Fire Dampers are some of the best available. You cannot put a price on peace of mind.

The design of S100BM Fire Dampers means they are suitable for use in high velocity airstreams thanks to their blade pack being stowed in an extended compartment during normal operation.
Unlike its fully galvanised S100BG cousin, S100BM Fire Dampers have a fully stainless steel blade pack, made from either 430, 316 or 304 grade stainless steel, creating a damper more resistant to damage through corrosion. However, should full protection against the effects of corrosion be required, please view our S100BS fully stainless steel Fire Dampers.
With their stainless steel blades, S100BM Fire Dampers already have corrosion resisting properties far exceeding those of standard fire dampers. Fire testing however is still required, and the whole range of HVC S100 Fire Dampers have been tested to BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) and BS476-20, for certified performance. In addition to fire testing, leakage tests in the form of DW144 have also been carried out and passed.
In the test house though conditions were controlled and clean, dampers were brand new and the effects of years sitting in a duct had not been evaluated. That is why HVC S100 Fire Dampers have been subjected to dust build up, cycling and corrosion tests to ensure operation, even after years of exposure to potentially operation hindering conditions
Require remote operation or remote blade position indication with your S100BM Fire Damper, no problem. We can factory fit a wide range of options to your fire damper to enhance functionality right out of the box. See the options tab above to find out more.
