Accidents do and always will happen, and with the best will in the world fire alarms and sprinkler systems may not be enough to prevent a fire becoming out of control. In this situation damage limitation is needed.
Fire dampers are designed to prevent the spread of fire through ductwork, keeping it localised to the area it started. Such an important function as fire protection demands the highest standard equipment. S100BMH Fire Dampers exceed all required BS and ISO requirements, giving you peace of mind that you have the best defence against fire.

With a stainless steel blade pack, made from either 430, 316 or 304 grade stainless, S100BMH Fire Dampers possess good corrosion resistance against substances like salt which is a problem in coastal or offshore installations, and chlorine, which in the air can cause severe damage to HVAC equipment in swimming pools.
In HVC Fire Damper codes, the suffix 'H' denotes a frame is included. With S100BMH Fire Dampers, this can be either a HEVAC or plasterboard fixing frame. Both are designed to protect against the deformation of both walls and dampers during a fire, and help to maintain the integrity of the partition.
Resistance to corrosion of blades is assured with S100BMH Fire Dampers, however just to give you peace of mind, HVC S100 Fire Dampers have undergone testing to simulate the effects of corrosion. After exposure to a 20% salt spray for 120 hours, dampers were observed to close and latch successfully after exposure to flame.
Comprehensive fire tests have also been carried out, and with all S100 Fire Dampers independently confirmed to satisfy both BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) and BS476-2, you know you are in safe hands when using HVC for your fire damper requirements.
It is not fair to make you pay for something you may not want, or make you pay over the odds for something you require. That is why S100BMH Fire Dampers come with a comprehensive range of factory fitted options including solenoids, visual positioning indicators and resettable links, with all specified as extras, and all prices fairly. See the options tab above to find out more.

Installation Frame Not Required?
Suppose you do not need a HEVAC or plasterboard fixing frame, S100AM Fire Dampers have all the advantages of S100AMH Fire Dampers without the builderswork frame |
|
Need a stainless frame as well?
Corrosive substances can wreak havoc with galvanised steel, S100ASH Fire Dampers have a fully stainless blade pack and internal frame, for maximum corrosion resistance |

Circular Spigot
S100AMH Fire Dampers are designed for square ducting systems. For circular systems S100CGH Fire Dampers are required |
