Nobody can be certain a fire will ever happen in their building, and of course prevention is the best defence. However nobody can be certain fire will never break out, and for this reason fire dampers are an absolute necessity.
Being a required product means that many companies market their own fire dampers, so how can you be sure of receiving the very best? You need to look for proven standards, like those shown by the entire range of HVC S100 fire dampers.

With both a stainless steel frame and stainless steel blade pack, S100BSH Fire Dampers are extremely resistant to corrosion and suitable for the harshest environments. You have the choice of either 430, 316 or 304 grade stainless steel.
S100BSH Fire Dampers are factory fitted with either HEVAC or plasterboard fixing frames. Both of which are made from galvanised steel, and both of which are designed to help the partition in which they are fitted remain strong even in the most severe fires.
The proven standards mentioned earlier in this case relate to the full bank of ISO and BS standards that have been satisfied in independent tests for HVC S100 Fire Dampers. All, including S100BSH dampers, satisfy BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) and BS476-20.
Fire testing however is only a small part of the extensive testing carried out on our Fire Dampers. Being sat in ductwork for years needs to be simulated and tested for complete peace of mind, so we have done it. HVC S100 Fire Dampers have undergone dust loading, corrosion and reliability testing to ensure operation even after exposure to long term adverse conditions.
As a company, we are aware that sometimes though a standard fire damper is not good enough. The ability to close the damper from a control panel may be required, or options to make maintenance and routine checking easier may be needed. We factory fit a huge range of options to S100BSH Fire Dampers, see the options tab above to find out more.

Fully Stainless Too Much?
If the superb corrosion resistance of S100ASH Fire Dampers is not needed, S100AMH Fire Dampers with their galvanised steel frame are more suitable |
|
Don't Need an Installation Frame?
If a HEVAC or Plasterboard fixing frame is not required, S100AS Fire Dampers are therefore more suitable |

Circular Spigot
S100AMH Fire Dampers are designed for square ducting systems. For circular systems S100CGH Fire Dampers are required |
