Application
- Endurance Tested to BS476-20 by Warrington F.R.C. for 6 hours with guaranteed closure in both vertical and horizontal planes
- Tested to the latest BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) for the maximum 4 hours at 300 Pascals by the Building Research Establishment

S100CM Fire Dampers have a stainless steel blade pack, using 430, 316 or 304 grade stainless steel. This results in a damper with much better resistance to corrosion than equivalent fully galvanised steel dampers.
With a circular spigot protruding 45mm from the damper, these fire dampers are designed to integrate perfectly into spiral and flexible ducting systems. S100CM Fire Dampers are recommended for use in low to high velocity airstreams.
Description
The importance of testing cannot be underestimated, and that is why our S100 Fire Dampers have undergone stringent independent testing to ensure compliance to relevant BS and ISO standards. Namely BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) and BS476-20.
Test house conditions though bear little resemblance to real world use. Fire dampers can become dusty in ducting, and maintenance routines can mean that dampers may be fired dozens of times over their lifespan during normal checking. That is why S100 Fire Dampers have undergone dust loading, cycling and reliability tests, giving you peace of mind that your damper will always operate.
