A 6 hour fire damper will hopefully never be called upon to act in your building, but fire can never be 100% ruled out. This being so, steps to guard against the worst happening are necessary.
For such a serious threat, only top quality equipment should be used like our own S100CMH Fire Damper should be used. Backed up by several ISO and BS tests, you can be assured of the best protection against the spread of fire.

Being factory fitted with either a HEVAC or plasterboard fixing frame, S100CMH Fire Dampers are extremely robust units, and when correctly installed, help the surrounding masonry to stay intact throughout a fire. Having stainless steel blades also results in a resistance to corrosion far in excess of all galvanised units.
Like the whole S100C range, S100CMH dampers use an extended blade compartment to house the blade pack outside the airstream during normal use. They also incorporate a circular spigot manufactured from galvanised steel, allowing spiral or flexible ducting to be connected easily.
Successful fire tests have been carried out on S100 Fire Dampers. Having satisfied a variety of BS British and ISO International standards, means that you can be assured your S100 Fire Damper will perform in even the most extreme fires.
Years of exposure to dust and corrosive substances though can result in dampers not performing correctly in a fire. HVC S100 Fire Dampers have undergone a trio of successful tests including dust loading, salt spray corrosion and damper cycling. After each simulation, dampers were able to close and latch perfectly.
Envisage your new building is going to have a centralised control system for operating relevant fire dampers in the event of a fire, or perhaps you want to make maintenance easier. No problem, the range of options available for your S100CMH Fire Damper means we can tailor make your new dampers to suit your needs perfectly. To find out more, click the options tab above.

Installation Frame Not Required?
Suppose you do not need a HEVAC or plasterboard fixing frame, S100CM Fire Dampers have all the advantages of S100AMH Fire Dampers without the builderswork frame |
|
Need a stainless frame as well?
Corrosive substances can wreak havoc with galvanised steel, S100CSH Fire Dampers have a fully stainless blade pack and internal frame, for maximum corrosion resistance |
|
Square/Rectangular Spigot
S100CMH Fire Dampers are designed for circular ducting systems. For square systems S100BMH Fire Dampers are required |
|
Flat Oval Spigot
Perhaps you need a flat oval spigot not circular. S100DMH Fire Dampers will be of more use to you |
