Ventilation systems can be the perfect pathways for fire, facilitating the spread from being localised to widespread in a short space of time.
The best way to combat this is with top quality fire dampers like our own S100DM. All HVC Fire Dampers are curtain dampers, which create a steel barrier across ductwork, stopping the spread for a maximum of six hours.

Designed for use with flat oval ductwork, S100DM Fire Dampers have a galvanised steel flat oval spigot protruding 45mm from the damper body.
They also utilise a stainless steel blade pack, normally retracted entirely from the airstream, made from either 430, 316 or 304 grade stainless. Therefore these dampers can be recommended for use in facilities where corrosive substances are present.
S100 Fire Dampers are tested to a variety of BS and ISO fire damper standards. BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) and BS476-20 have all been successfully passed in independent test houses. Damper cases also pass DW144 leakage tests.
Before fire testing though, dampers are not subjected to the build ups of dust and dirt that can take place over many years of sitting idle in a duct. HVC has thought about this, and we have conducted dust loading, reliability and cycling tests, so you can be certain your S100DM Fire Damper will always close perfectly.
See the options tab above to obtain more information on what we can factory fit to your new S100DM Fire Damper. With our extensive range of extras, why not make your fire damper suit your needs perfectly?

Greater Resistance to Corrosion
Adding a stainless steel frame, S100DS Fire Dampers build on S100AM Fire Dampers, bringing the maximum level of corrosion resistance |

HEVAC or Plasterboard Frame Needed?
With the choice of either, S100DMH Fire Dampers bring the additional benefits of a builderswork frame |
|
Square/Rectangular Spigot
S100DM Fire Dampers are designed for flat oval ducting systems. For square systems S100BM Fire Dampers are required |

Circular Spigot
Perhaps you need a circular spigot instead of flat oval? S100CM Fire Dampers will be of more use to you |
