Prevention of fire is always the best course of action, but accidents have, do, and always will happen. With a threat as severe as fire, this means installing the very best equipment to combat it as effectively as possible.
HVC S100DS Fire Dampers are among the very best fire dampers available to buy. Able to prevent the spread of fire through ductwork for up to six hours, giving you the time you need to evacuate the building and call in emergency services.

S100DS Fire Dampers have a fully stainless steel frame and blades, giving truly superior resistance to corrosion than both fully galvanised and stainless bladed fire dampers. You have the choice of 430, 316 or 304 grade stainless steel with your S100DS.
This blade pack is normally held entirely out of the airstream, reducing turbulence and pressure drops dramatically. All S100D series fire dampers include a fitted flat oval spigot, for effective connection to flat oval ductwork.
In addition to conforming to DW144 leakage requirements, all S100 Fire Dampers are tested to both BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) and BS476-20. These tests require fire dampers to withstand four hours of fire at 300Pa, and six hours at ambient pressure respectively.
What fire testing does not accurately simulate however are the normal conditions within the duct, which may contain dust and dirt, potentially hindering the ability of the damper to close in an emergency. This is why we have conducted testing to ensure our dampers will always work, even when loaded with dust.
Sometimes a standard fusible link operated fusible link fire damper is not good enough. You may need the ability to close any dampers remotely, or require blade position indicators to make your maintenance staff more productive. Whatever you may want, our range of factory fitted options, shown in the options tab above, are certain to match your needs.

Don't Need Fully Stainless?
Perhaps you don't need so much corrosion resistance, S100DM Fire Dampers use a galvanised not stainless frame |
|
HEVAC or Plasterboard Frame Needed?
With the choice of either, S100DSH Fire Dampers bring the additional benefits of a builderswork frame |
|
Square/Rectangular Spigot
S100DS Fire Dampers are designed for flat oval ducting systems. For square systems S100BS Fire Dampers are required |
|
Circular Spigot
Perhaps you need a circular spigot instead of flat oval? S100CS Fire Dampers will be of more use to you |
