Application
- Endurance Tested to BS476-20 by Warrington F.R.C. for 6 hours with guaranteed closure in both vertical and horizontal planes
- Tested to the latest BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) for the maximum 4 hours at 300 Pascals by the Building Research Establishment

S200AG in duct Fire Dampers have been designed to integrate perfectly into existing ventilation systems, where the fitting of a regular spigotted fire damper would be costly and time consuming.
Being of a fully galvanised construction, these fire dampers should not be used anywhere where there is a risk of exposure to corrosive substances like salt or chlorine. They are also only suitable for use in ducts where air velocity can be considered low.
Description
Despite being able to fit entirely within ductwork, S200AG Fire Dampers use the very same operating mechanism as standard S100 Fire Dampers. Comprising stainless steel power springs and latching mechanisms, S200 Fire Dampers can be used in a vertical or horizontal application with guaranteed closure.
Another similarity is that all of the fire tests applicable to S100 Fire Dampers, also apply to all S200 Fire Dampers. So, not only do you get an exceptionally easy to fit damper, you get the assurance of performance in the most extreme circumstances. Certified to BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) and BS476-20.
