These fire dampers are designed to sit inside ductwork, rather than in between two lengths. Brilliant where space is limited, or fire dampers need fitting into an existing system.

Application
- Endurance Tested to BS476-20 by Warrington F.R.C. for 6 hours with guaranteed closure in both vertical and horizontal planes
- Tested to the latest BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) for the maximum 4 hours at 300 Pascals by the Building Research Establishment

S200AM in duct Fire Dampers are supplied 6mm under nominal size, for easy fitment into ducting. The damper can literally be slid into existing ducting. With blades normally held within the airstream, these dampers are only recommended for use in low velocity airstreams.
Using stainless steel blades in either 430, 316 or 304 grade stainless steel means S200AM Fire Dampers can be used inside ducts where corrosive substances may be present, without fear of the blade pack seizing up.
Description
S200AM Fire Dampers prove appearances really can be deceptive, in a frame less than 6cm deep, we have managed to fit a spring powered blade pack, capable of withstanding the extreme testing needed to gain BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) and BS476-20 certification.
By using stainless steel springs to power the blade packs closure, means that S200AM Fire Dampers are guaranteed to close in either the vertical or horizontal position.
So you know all about the fire tests, and the spring loaded blade pack, but you need resettable links for maintenance, or micro switches for remote blade position indication. HVC can suit these requirements, just see the options tab above to find out more.
