We realise that sometimes fitting of fire dampers happens after main building work has finished. In this situation S200 Fire Dampers could be exactly the solution.
They are designed to sit within ductwork, doing away with the need for expensive and time consuming masonry work, as would be needed with a regular framed fire damper.

Intended for retrofit installations where airflow needs to remain unrestricted, S200BG Fire Dampers are designed to slot into ductwork, but leave the blade pack protruding out of the top. Enabling these dampers for use in any velocity airstream.
S200BG Fire Dampers have all major components made from galvanised steel and so are only suitable for environments where exposure to corrosive substances is unlikely.
Despite their compact size, S200 Fire Dampers have achieved exactly the same fire ratings as our normal S100 dampers. They have been certified to satisfy BS1366-2 (ISO10294-1) by the building research establishment, and BS476-20 by Warrington fire research centre.
The B series of S200 Fire Dampers have a special flange, coming out at 90 degrees just above the top of the damper opening. This allows you to cut a full width hole in the top of ductwork, slide the damper into the duct, and then create a secure connection between the top flange and the duct.
For options and accessories, please see the options tab above. We are able to fit electromagnets and solenoids for remote operation, resettable links to aid maintenance, and a variety of other functionality enhancing options.

Greater Resistance to Corrosion
S200BG Dampers use galvanised steel blade packs and frames. S200BM Fire Dampers, with their stainless blade pack offer a greater corrosion resistance |

Got a low velocity airstream?
If so, allowing the blade pack to protrude into the airstream, like with S200AG Fire Dampers enables the damper to fit entirely within the duct |
